Latin Jazz legend Poncho Sanchez was brought up playing music with the likes of Cal Tjader and Dizzy Gillespie. Sanchez taught himself to play the congas and is now one of the world's best known Latin Jazz band leaders. Sanchez performs at The Smith Center this weekend and he joins us to talk about his sound and musical upbringing.
